Gaming has always been difficult, or impossible, for some people, but things are changing!
Major manufacturers are releasing great new products all the time, including Microsoft (XBox Adaptive Controller), Sony (PlayStation Access Controller), Logitech (Adaptive Gaming Kit), and my personal favorite, the QuadStick.
So now nearly everyone can get into gaming:
- Play on your own, or play with friends
- Make new friends in the gaming community
- Play collaboratively, in pairs or in groups
- Play for fun, or play competitively
- Participate as an equal
- Possible cognitive benefits
- Possible therapy opportunities
